These terms explain the rules for using Our Family, operated by Thumbeja Publicity, including your responsibilities when creating accounts, uploading family content, and sharing tree access with others.

Using Our Family

Our Family is a digital family history service by Thumbeja Publicity that lets you build family trees, upload photos, organize family details, and share selected trees with invited collaborators.

By creating an account, signing in, or using the app as a guest, you agree to use the service lawfully and in line with these terms.

Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.

• You may use Google sign-in, email/password, or guest access where available.
• You must not impersonate another person or create an account for unlawful use.
• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

Your Family Content

You keep ownership of the family tree content, photos, notes, and other material you upload to Our Family.

You confirm that you have the right to upload and share the content you add, including images and personal details of living people where applicable.

• Do not upload content that violates privacy, copyright, or applicable law.
• Do not upload harmful code, abusive material, or misleading content.
• Take care when sharing sensitive family records, especially for living relatives.

Sharing and Collaboration

Our Family allows tree owners to invite viewers and editors or share access links. Owners control who can view or modify a tree.

• Owners are responsible for deciding who receives access.
• Editors may be allowed to update tree content depending on the permissions granted.
• Viewer and editor access can be revoked by the tree owner or by Our Family where needed for safety or compliance.

Subscriptions and Paid Features

Some features may be limited on the free plan and may require a paid plan or premium approval flow to unlock expanded usage.

Prices, plan features, and eligibility may change over time. Any paid access is subject to the plan details shown in the app, on the website, or communicated by Our Family.

Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with app security.
• Do not scrape, copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service except where the law clearly allows it.
• Do not use Our Family to harass, defame, exploit, or endanger others.

Service Availability

We work to keep Our Family available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, or permanent availability of every feature.

We may update, improve, suspend, or remove parts of the service when needed for maintenance, safety, legal compliance, or product changes.

Suspension and Termination

We may limit or suspend access if we reasonably believe an account is violating these terms, creating security risks, or misusing the service.

You may stop using Our Family at any time. For account closure or deletion requests, contact info@thumbeja.com.

Disclaimers and Liability

Our Family is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent allowed by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Our Family is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
